Packing and wrapping with protective bubble wrap and foam filler where required and boxed for shipping when needed for all of the fragile items to eliminate the chance of damage during transit.
Each component, upon being placed into the vehicle will be wrapped in furniture transport pads (soft felt). These furniture pads will also be used on any leather chairs to avoid scuffing. Upon delivery, all items dismantled by ORS will be reassembled.
Where applicable fabric furniture items will be wrapped by ORS staff utilising plastic covers to prevent dust, water damage and soiling during the move process.
For the fragile and important items, we will have a highly experienced specialist packing supervisor attend the relocation to oversee the safe and secure preparation of all items for transport.
When it comes to security, we’ve worked with the most stringent of clients including relocating police records and diamond cutting facilities.
We use security crates for the packing and relocation of sensitive items. They are made of high-density plastic with hinged lids incorporating small eyelets at either end.
In order to confirm complete security, each end is secured using seals that are tamper-proof and have been fully SCEC approved, unlike standard locks.
